This kit and class teaches you everything you need to know to do Bioengineering. No experience needed. Despite the class not being live you can participate in an Online Classroom where you can interact with instructors when you need them to help answer any questions you may have.

The class has 8 lectures and experiments. The videos can be viewed remote online at anytime and you can follow along with hands-on experiments that we ship to you. The value of the supplies alone is worth the cost of the class! We will send all you all the class links and info once you register.

The class is remote so you can do it from anywhere.

This class will take a few hours a week to perform experiments that can be done at your own pace.

    Starting Well

Posted by Alex on 22nd Jun 2020

I'm glad, I've been interested in learning biohacking for a while and now I have a chance to do it. I just received my kit and completed the pippette class, can't wait to get in the good stuff!

Having a lot of fun with it!

Posted by John Bryson on 15th Mar 2020

I'm having a lot of fun with it. I've been watching the videos, reading the book, and attempting the experiments. It's gone very well so far. Also, I found the Facebook group and interaction to be very friendly and motivating.

    Excellent Course & Resources

Posted by Unknown on 3rd Jan 2020

Great intro to bioengineering and genomic engineering. I'm not sure where else you would be able to get this type of kit/class set. The team is very accessible and answers questions very promptly. Great service.

This is a great deal for anyone who has an interest in getting started in bio-hacking.

    Terrific resource

This kit and video lecture series combination has been an effective and motivating way to learn both the theory and practice of basic bioengineering. I would recommend it to anyone interested in getting started in this field.

    No experience before the class

Posted by nico patel on 2nd Oct 2019

So i want to preface my review by saying I'm an avid online learner, and i'm about halfway through the class now. That being said, this is a great class that introduces the subjects in a nice easy way and the value is incredible. I mean, I have a friend with a bachelors in biomedical engineering that knows less than crispr about me. This class is a great option if your self motivated. If your the kind of person that needs more direction, or a traditional classroom setting, maybe it's not the class for you. Still, no resource like this exists outside of universities when it comes to receiving a crash course in bio-engineering.

    Best thing ever.

Posted by Brent S Carroll on 15th Sep 2019

This class is exactly what the world needs. A place where anyone can come to learn hands-on genetic engineering and do it themselves. My only advice is that the 101 class does spend a lot of time going over the details of a cell. If you recently took a college-level cellular biology class, go ahead and skip to the 102 class, you will enjoy the harder material and benefit from not going over what you already know. Perhaps the Odin should create an online test that can tell you what class you should be in based on your experience and knowledge level.

101 class at my own pace.

Posted by Nick on 9th Jul 2019

So far so good, I got the box and its contents not long ago and I have been doing some of the reading at my own pace. I can't wait to do some of the experiments at home this summer before I start school back up in the fall.

I received the materials quick and went through the first lessons. Everything looks great! I enjoyed the laid-back tone of the classes.
