In this experiment you will introduce new DNA into plant cells to modify pigment production. By altering how plants produce anthocyanins and chlorophyll-related pathways, leaf coloration changes become visible as the plant grows.

This kit demonstrates the fundamentals of plant genetic engineering and DNA delivery.

    A. Tumefaciens highly viable for plant transformation protocols, and worked OK for my plant calli. In the middle of transgenically modifying calli for my 7th grade sci fair!
